reaching out to Veterans with a Mission.

Insight:
On average, 22 veteran suicides take place in our country each day. Veterans with a Mission is dedicated to spreading hope and showing the veteran community that their service to the country can lead to much than a looming statistic.

Idea:
As a veteran who spent nearly a decade in the U.S. Air Force and has lost more friends to suicide than I’d like to count, it would be impossible for me not to mention how special it was to be a part of this campaign. Due to my intimate relationship with PTSD and the affects it can have on service members, my approach for this campaign was to utilize bold imagery and straightforward copy to reach the veteran/military community in a way that didn’t sugar coat VWAM’s message or intent, while also reminding them that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
